Building homes with purpose and long-term impact

For over 10 years, NCTL has focused on one mission: developing communities where immigrants can thrive. By combining sustainable design, smart planning, and people first development, we create homes that offer stability, dignity, and opportunity to families beginning their journey in Canada.

Adenike (Nike) Shittu Oreyomi

Adenike (Nike) Shittu Oreyomi is a serial entrepreneur, award-winning real estate investor and developer, and community builder with more than two decades of entrepreneurial experience spanning real estate, business development, and strategic investments. She holds a Master's degree in Nutrition from Carleton University, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based thinking and the philosophy that health is wealth —a principle she extends beyond physical wellness to include financial health, stable housing, and thriving communities. Nike is an entrepreneur, investor, developer, wife, mother, mentor, and passionate advocate for financial empowerment. Nike's entrepreneurial journey began at the age of seven when she launched her first business in Nigeria. Since then, she has founded and operated multiple businesses, continually embracing educated risk-taking and lifelong learning as the foundation of sustainable success. After immigrating to Canada at the age of 21, she continued building businesses while pursuing higher education, allowing her to quickly establish a strong network and gain a deep understanding of the Canadian business and investment environment. In 2018, Nike and her husband purchased their first home, which quickly became their first real estate investment and marked the beginning of a transformative journey. Together, they have built a growing portfolio of multifamily rental properties across Ontario and other parts of Canada while developing expertise in acquisitions, partnership and financing structures, asset management, and creating new rental housing. As Co-Founder of NCTL Group, Nike supports the firm's real estate acquisition strategy, financing structures, and development initiatives focused on delivering quality housing that strengthens communities. Nike's commitment to affordable housing is rooted in lived experience. As a newcomer to Canada, she spent four years on the subsidized housing waitlist while working to build a better future for her family. That experience shaped her conviction that safe, affordable housing is the foundation upon which families build stability, opportunity, and generational wealth. Today, her journey has come full circle—from waiting for affordable housing to helping build it for others. Through NCTL Group, Nike is committed to increasing the supply of affordable and attainable housing while empowering individuals and families through entrepreneurship, financial education, and wealth creation. She often speaks at community events and mentors aspiring investors, young professionals, and newcomers, with a particular passion for creating opportunities within racialized communities. Nike is a Faith-driven leader who believes that real estate is more than an investment—it's a catalyst for stronger families, stronger communities, and lasting generational impact. Her mission is to create housing, build businesses, create investment opportunities and inspire others to see possibility where others see limitations.

Carine Toham Ngoy

Carine Toham Ngoy is a mother, a multi-award winning entrepreneur, real estate developer, and with her husband full support, co-founder of NCTL Group, where she is helping reshape communities through thoughtful land development and missing middle housing. At her core, Carine believes that excellence is taught long before it is expected. As the mother of three, she is intentional about leading by example—showing her children that discipline, integrity, faith, and perseverance create opportunities not only for yourself, but for generations to come. Her greatest mission is to inspire the youngest generation to dream bigger, work harder, and become leaders who positively impact their communities. That commitment to excellence has defined her entire journey. Carine earned a PhD in Networking, a field centered on creating connections between people and systems. Looking back, that passion for connecting lives has remained constant—it has simply taken a different form. Today, instead of connecting computer networks, she connects families with housing opportunities, investors with wealth-building opportunities, and communities with thoughtfully designed neighborhoods. For the past six years, Carine has focused on real estate investing and land development, applying strategic thinking and long-term vision to create lasting value. Through NCTL Group, she specializes in developing missing middle multifamily housing, delivering projects that address housing shortages while creating wealth for investors and expanding possibilities for families. Carine believes real estate is more than buildings—it’s a tool for financial freedom, community transformation, and generational impact. Her mission is to prove that profitable development and meaningful social impact can go hand in hand. Whether inspiring aspiring investors, speaking on stage, or leading development projects, Carine is driven by one purpose: to leave every family, every community, and every generation more connected, more empowered, and better positioned for the future than she found them.

We work with builders, investors, and community partners who share our vision for meaningful development and measurable impact.

Seeing potential where others see limits

We look for overlooked lots and aging buildings close to transit, schools, and everyday services, then assess each site for zoning, servicing, and neighbourhood fit before we commit.

  • Site sourcing and feasibility
  • Zoning and approvals strategy
  • Gentle density that fits the street

Designed with the neighbourhood, not just for it

Good homes start long before construction. We bring accessibility, family needs, and long-term liveability into every drawing, working hand in hand with planning and design professionals.

  • Architect and engineer collaboration
  • Accessible, family-friendly layouts
  • Efficient, durable design choices

Built right, with care at every stage

We work with trusted construction partners and stay close to the schedule, the budget, and the details, so each project moves from permit to move-in with fewer surprises.

  • Vetted construction partners
  • Schedule and budget oversight
  • Quality checks at every milestone

Growing impact together

We partner with investors, builders, and community organisations who want their capital and expertise to strengthen neighbourhoods, with clear communication from the first conversation onward.

  • Joint ventures and co-investment
  • Transparent, regular updates
  • Long-term value alongside impact
